Most computer musicians are aware of this legendary software VSTi. It is the software replica of the famous Clavia NORD LEAD 2. Synth1 is very well written digital "analog simulation" instrument, clean and fat. The only downside of this VSTi is the present that comes with it suck big time. But don't worry, search around the net and there are many good one hidden around the corner.

When to Team 108 to collect my Propellerhead Reason 4.0 today and spotted an analog tape machine. Its the Otari MTR-100.

During the 70s, this machine is the the coolest thing a recording artist can play with in his/ her studio. But as time passes, this monster has been replaced by digital technologies.

Recently I took up a project from my friend and he want me to write a Chinese ballet. In a piece of Chinese ballet, the chord of the song is usually a string. As i can't afford a real string player, I have to depend solely on the free VST that is provided in the Internet.

AlgoMusic 's String Synth is one of the VST that I have use for my recent project. It is one of the best sounding string VST i have and I have been using it in many project.
