This is one of the most interesting books i have read. This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession is written by Daniel J. Levitin, who is an American cognitive psychologist, neuroscientist, record producer, musician, and writer.The book start out with the first chapter, "What is Music?", this is a good 40 pages of simple explanation on music itself, like scales, pitch tones, etc etc. The rest of the book is about why we dance to certain music and why our brain like this and not the other kind of music.

I have to agree that this is a book for all electronic/ dance musician, sound designer, and anybody that want to know more on sound and music. One of the best so far.
