I am not good at reading music, i hate all the stave, notes and all those weird medieval lingo. As a musician, I have no choice but got to learn all these. I understand that as a beginner it is hard to pick up music theory and reading music. Thanks God we are living in the cyber-age, the Internet have a lot of sites that are dedicated to help all of us learn music theory.
One of these site is Kevin Meixner's The Basics of Reading Music. I find this site has a good and simple explanation on music theory. Click
